Man i feel like i’m getting more and more lazy. I don’t feel like updating this blog =P but i’m gonna keep pushing along. 

Meals : 

Breakfast : 2x english muffin

Lunch : grilled chicken and vegetables

Dinner : Salad and vegetable soup

Work out : 

2 miles (16 mins)

squats 155 lbs 3 sets 12 reps

Mod lat pull down 110 lbs 3 sets 12 reps

Seated Machine row 85 lbs 3 sets 12 reps

Quad exercise 85 lbs 3 sets 12 reps

Hamstring exercises 85 lbs 3 sets 12 reps

Yeah long work out today, but felt good. Alright time for the mavs and knicks game. LETS GO KNICKS!!!

Day 5 & 6, Plus weekend

Hey everyone, Sorry for the lack of updates. I had a pretty eventful yet busy weekend. But you guys should all be proud of me because i completed my first real week of working out and dieting and continuing strong into this week. Lets get right into it

Meals :

Day 5

Missed breakfast and lunch again, but when i got back from work i was able to have some chicken noodle soup from jess. Madd props to her, it was delicious and very healthy. And then at night i had Kiku for dinner.  My brother was nice enough to take me out to dinner for my birthday. I mean it doesn’t following my diet to the teeth, but i had hibachi with filet mignon and some sushi. Besides the msg, i consider it to be a very good meal.


Again i missed breakfast because of how busy it was at the restaurant, but i did manage to grab some scramble eggs with some veggies before i left work. At night i cheated a little and had don katsu. I know i shouldn’t have but i couldn’t resist. Technically its not fast food, so its not too bad… I know i’m trying to give myself a get out of jail free card =P Maybe i should have at least one cheat meal. Of course best case scenario i wont use it, but if i with a bunch of friends, maybe i can pull it out. Just a thought =P And finally on Sunday, missed breakfast, finished my left over don katsu with some extra stuff from bartolomeo del in englewood. I had a nice panini and some macaroni salad. And for dinner i had soup, and finish my left over lunch. As you can see my stomach definitely has shrunk since i don’t crave for a full meal, and i get full pretty quickly. So glad i’m seeing some progress in my diet

Day 6

Breakfast : Apple Juice

Lunch : Scramble eggs with vegetables

Dinner : Salad

* Note to self : need to work on eating more meals in a day and stop skipping out of BREAKFAST!

Onto the work out :

Day 5

2 Mile run ( 17ish mins) better then the day before but still working on it, i think its just my body telling me to rest up.

Bench press 90 lbs 3 sets 12 reps

Bicep curls 25 lbs x 2 3 sets 12 reps (dumb bells)

Tricep curls 80 lbs 3 sets 12 reps

Over head presses 90 lbs 3 sets 12 reps

Abdominal Machine crunches 120 lbs 3 sets 12 reps 

Day 6

2 Mile run (16 mins) back to running at a good mile pace. Thank goodness i have the weekend to recover my body

Bench press 110 lbs 3 sets 12 reps, as you can see, i increased the weight by 20 lbs

Bicep curls 25 lbs x 2 3 sets 12 reps (dumb bells)

Triceps curls 80 lbs 3 sets 12 reps

Butterfly pectoral exercises : 90 lbs 3 sets 12 reps

Abdominal Machine Crunches 120 lbs 3 sets 12 reps

I think i’m going pretty strong, hopefully i can get this week over and done with =) still nervous about my job interview for this coming wednesday. Wish me luck and if you guys could pray for me, that would be totally amazing =)

Day 4

Day 4 of work out has been completed. Seriously i feel as if this week wont end. I also feel as if my muscles wont heal… I’m getting more and more sore each day. Its impossible to fall asleep in bed every night too. Every time i toss and turn, it burns! Anyways todays workout wasn’t my best, but i got the job done. Also my diet has been getting worse and worse. Well here goes nothing :

Meals :

So far… just a peanut butter and banana sandwhich on a toasted wheat toast, i was pretty busy today i sorta missed breakfast and lunch -_-‘

Dinner : I believe jess is cooking me chicken noodle soup, so i have something to look forward to

Work out :

2 miles ( 18:32 mins) worst 2 miles… but on the bright side i ran the last 400m at a 9.5 mile pace

Squats : 135 lb 3 sets 12 reps

Seated Machine Row : 100 lbs 3 sets 12 reps

Quad Exercises : 80 lbs 3 sets 12 reps

Hamstring Exercises : 80 lbs 3 sets 12 reps

Day 3

Hello there, sorry for the late post. I had bible study today, so i didn’t get the chance to write on this after my work out. Well here it goes :


Breakfast : english muffin (i know i should eat more)

Abdominal machine crunches 105 lbs 3 sets 12 reps

Overall it was a good work, still trying to figure out my diet plan, but i’m assuming its working out because after every meal i get really hungry =( Speaking of which i’m starving right now =( Its also the worst when your starving and watching the food network channel. Last night i ended up calling it a night at 8 30. Partially is because my body was shutting down and also i was ridiculously hungry. One way to feed that hunger is going to bed =) anyways. its getting late. Yes 11 o clock is late, plus i’m getting hungry again =P I’m gonna call it a night. Already finished half of my first week and going strong. Lets hope i can continue this till friday. God bless everyone =)

Day 2

Hello fellow interwebbers. Just got back from the gym and i am totally exhausted =( but feeling good! So far my diet and gym has been going strong

Meals :

Breakfast : short stack of pancakes

Lunch : Mandarine Chicken Salad

Third meal : two small tacos, fresh veggies yum!

Dinner : Grilled chicken breast and salad

Gym :

2 miles (16 mins)

Squats : 135 lbs 3 sets 12 reps

Overhead Presses : 90 lbs 3 sets 12 reps

Seated Machine Row : 90 lbs 3 sets 12 reps

Quad Exercises : 80 lbs 3 sets 12 reps

As you can see, it has been a very long day. 

I do have some good news though, Finally i got a call back for an interview for this monday for Acura DCH. I’m pretty excited and nervous all at the same time. God is truly amazing. God bless everyone, i’ll keep ya’ll posted =)

Day 1

After turning the age of 23, I learned that this is going to be a big year for me. I mean turning twenty three isn’t a big deal or anything, but i feel that God has a lot of things planned for me. I’m really excited what he has in store for me and how he is going to use me to impact other people. First off, i know i’m a few days late on lent, but i’m gonna beginning fasting from soda and fast food. I mean there is not set rule on what is consider fast food but i’ll use my own discretion. Not only am i giving up unhealthy snacks, i’m also going to commit to going to the gym at least 5 times a week (monday-friday) hopefully. As of now things are going pretty well, but then again, its only day one. So far its been a huge success. Here is what i had today :

Not a bad first day, i know i’m going to feel this tomorrow but hopefully i can get over the one week hump! I still need to fix up my diet. I’m going to try to eat less but more meals in a day. I know i failed that today, but i’m still getting use to it. Man… good by junk food hello salads =(. Oh God, please help me!
